The Primary Careers Conference Team are grateful to the business community for their generous support over the past two years.
We are continually looking for support from businesses. You could get involved in one of the following ways:
Would you be willing to be one of our speakers, share your career journey and passion for your job?
Could you run an interactive workshop or stall that engages young people and sparks an interest in your industry?
Could you support us in sourcing inspirational speakers, workshop and stall facilitators?
Over the past two years we have been supported by Business Volunteers who have helped with logistics on the day.
Do you have people in your organisation that can support us with the smooth running of the conference and assist young people in their workshops?
Following the conference all participating schools will be supported to run their own event.
These events have a greater impact if external organisations speak, run workshops and lead assemblies.
We help by providing schools with a list of businesses that can assist with their events and we are always looking for more businesses to include on this list.
The role of the steering group is to oversee and support the work of the conference team.
A key priority for the coming year is to ensure that this is a sustainable event to continue to reach as many young citizens as possible.
We welcome further representation from the business community on the Conference Steering Group.
Current Steering Group members include: Argent, British Library, Dentsu Aegis, Francis Crick Institute and Inspire.
Over the last two years the Primary Careers Conference has been generously funded by The Goldsmiths’ Company, British Library, Densu Aegis and Camden Council.
We need further support from the Business Community to continue to finance the conference.
We would be interested in hearing from businesses that could sponsor an element of the conference.
This could cover; the cost of a venue, financing lunch or paying for a speaker or workshop.
